Tune your brake system for a winning day at the track with Hawk DTC Racing Brake Pads. Using Dynamic Torque Control (DTC) technology to provide a more aggressive braking performance, these quality racing brake pads are developed and manufactured for your track use only.

The DTC series is designed with advanced friction technology to fight pad edge lift under even the most extreme racing conditions. Track-tested to ensure highly controllable and consistent torque, these Hawk Racing Brake Pads are the ideal way to give your speed machine the stopping power it demands.

Available in multiple compounds to suit your racing needs, from dirt track to blacktop, DTC Racing Brake Pads can be used in different compound combinations for split friction axles if desired. DTC Brake Pads are sold in pairs for the front or rear and backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

What DTC Compound has the highest coefficient of friction?
DTC80 has the highest coefficient of friction. Generally speaking the higher the number affixed to DTC, the higher the coefficient of friction across the operating temperature range

How much dust do the brake pads create?
Depends on specific compound, but most DTC compounds are designed for uncompromising stopping power and have higher dusting characteristics

Is hardware included?
Basic shim plate and pad backing paste included

How hard are they to install?
Varies by application, but drum brakes can require special spring pliers and critical alignment. Previous automotive experience recommended.

Are they loud, or do they produce noise?
Due to the nature of warming up a track pad to get it to optimal operating temperature, they can create noise, typically more so when cold

On a Dodge Hellcat Redeye Widebody!

I use the DTC -70's for lapping a heavy modified Challenger front and back. What can I say? They work perfect teamed up with Demon Performance Rotors made by Gyrodisc and Castrol SRF fluid in helping it be competitive despite its heavy weight.

Confidence with DTC 70 brake pads

Thanks to my Hawk DTC 70 brake pads I have the confidence to go deeper into the braking zone. I know that I have more initial bite and shorter stopping distances with Hawk DTC 70 brake pads than any other brake pads I've ever used.

Stop that!

Put DTC-60s on my Cayman S at VIR. Holy cow! Feels like I have a different car. Just think stop and the car stops. No fade. Amazing. Problems? I worked the brakes so hard that I boiled the factory brake fluid and almost lost brakes in turn 10. Kept it on the track, changed to high temp race fluid, and voila - these brakes are a perfect match for me and my car. They wear down pretty fast... maybe 4-6 track days, but that's to be expected. Great price and delivery at Auto Anything. Buy them!

DTC 70

The DTC 70 pads worked well. I was having a problem with the front tires locking up- & these harder biting pads helped to eliminate the problem

Great Pads for Racing

The DTC 60 in front with DTC 30 in rear is a balanced setup for a Miata with the stock prop valve.

Hawk DTC-60 brake pads

These are great brake pads for the intended use, which is the race track. Lots of bite and resistance to heat related fade, but a bit noisy as expected. I'm using the same compound front and rear, with larger Z06 calipers in the front. Seems well balanced.

DTC- 60 on 05 Mini Cooper S

Good torque and release. Probably more than what the car needs. Upgraded front calipers to R56 calipers, Bendix Premium blanks and cooling ducts installed. Limiting factor now are the tires. Confidence inspiring. Bedding them in was a lot of fun. Expect a sparkler show. Yes, it is normal.

Great Track Car Pads

The Hawk DTC70 brake pads are great for experienced track day drivers who are looking for confidence in the braking zone. Rotor wear is minimal as long as they are hot and we get about eight track days out of a set of pads. Use these for great performance but if dust is a concern, these are not for you.

Hawk DTC Racing Brake Pads

Hawk DTC 70 pads are the best I ever tried. Remember the are race only pads not for the street. They last 2 race days about 250 race miles. Must have cooling to rotors

Great pads

Excellent pads, better than the Hawk Blue pads. Very consistent application of power, exceptional grip, no grabbing or fade even with very hard track use.

Hawk DTC Racing Brake Pads

I have been using Hawk pads on my 2008 BMW M3 for more than 3 years with over 80 track days at Sebring, National Corvette Museum track, Barber, Road Atlanta, etc. They get up to temperature quickly and I have never experienced fade. When I head into a 90 degree turn at 140 mph plus, I am always confident my Hawk pads will bring my speed down.

No fade

My first time trying the DTC 60's and so far I have taken to one track day and they worked great. Very smooth and linear pedal fee. They were easy to modulate and performed flawlessly. The only minor drawback is they produce a boat load of dust but I guess that is to be expected with this level of performance pad. I also drive to the track and felt these did just fine on the street too, nothing surprising on the street at all.
