Rear brakes 2005 Tacoma

Previously installed Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors and brake pads on the front and have been very pleased with their performance so when it was time for rear shoes I naturally went with Power Stop, they make a quality product you can depend on.

I regomend these highly.

I was going to install these myself but, something came up and I had to use a service shop. The mechanic who did the job never heard of this brand but said they looked top notch. Since their install I have had no trouble with my brakes whatsoever. The stops are solid and quiet. And I will be buyer of these again when needed. Next would be disc brakes on my car when the time comes. These are well made and I would suggest you get a pair.

Slows ya down

Certainly not as good as disk brakes, but as far as new shoes for drums go these seem to do the job. Doesn't come with any new hardware for install, so make sure to order new clips/springs separately.

Great

I was unable to install till a couple of days ago. I am not a mechanic only a retired person who has more time than money. I did the replacement of the shoes myself with no prior experience. I did photo the shoes prior to removal of the old ones and placed them in the order they came off. Then replaced the new shoes the way they were laid out. I was very happy that the replacement of the new shoes were so easy and the new ones work great.

Everything fit right, like the original. They seem like they are doing good, holding pretty good. How long they last, we will know after 36,000 miles.thanks

just like OE

the brakes I removed had plenty of lining, no wonder, they would not stop the truck. replaced both front and rear with the semi-metallic pads and shoes to maintain brake balance. what a wonder, the pedal is now sensitive to the force I apply and the truck stops. would recommend to anyone.
