Frequently Asked Questions

Are these upgraded calipers over stock?
No, these are rebuilt stock calipers and perform the same as stock

Will I need to bleed my brakes after installing?
Yes, absolutely you will need to bleed your brakes when installing new brake calipers. Start at the caliper furthest away from your brake fluid reservoir.

How hard are they to install?
Calipers can be tricky without the right tools. Having a breaker bar and hooks to support the caliper until its fully mounted are handy. Always pump the brakes before test driving.

If these arent an upgrade, why would I buy them?
Because they are professionally coated and rebuilt. You're either looking to improve the looks, or restore functionality to seized, old broken calipers.

Are they sold individually?
No, they are only sold in pairs

Wish I had them on my Escalade ESV 10 years ago.

I have had braking situations that were unsettling. Brake fade, grab, and lock. Since installing new rotors, stainless steel brake lines and the performance brake calipers, all from auto anything, the ESV stops almost like my Zo6 or S63. Not as short but more stability.

Very happy!

Pleased with the fit and function of the XP Calipers. The Core return cost me $58 from the west coast... so not much benefit in returning them besides the "warm fuzzy" feeling you get when you recycle.... I didn't want red Calipers on my Ford truck, so these were a great alternative.
