ARB REAR BUMPER FOR 2008 FJ Cruiser

Reviewed By Joseph D (Ewen, MI) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser —4/16/2016 5:22 AM

I have a front bumper and wanted to add the rear. It was delivered in a box on a palate to my mechanic's garage. Everything was in order and all bolts etc. were included. Then the head scratching began. The corner cuts to be made in the plastic to allow the new bumper to slip onto the frame are tricky. The instructions which include photos are not clear. The measuring points in particular are ambiguous. Is the cut here, here, or here? ARB needs to consult IKEA. Otherwise a great addition.

Never installed due too weird finish

Reviewed By Chris B (Parker, CO) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota Tundra —1/13/2019 3:13 PM

I purchased this for 2008 Toyota Tundra, never installed. I loved the design look of this bumper and looked forward to having more reverse lighting BUT when I opened the box the "powder coat" finish has wrinkly, scaly look. Not my preference. I purchased an ICI front bumper as well and prefer their powder coat finish. Autoanything employees were GREAT and worked with me to replace.

Solid tire carrier for Jeep

Reviewed By Neal R (NICEVILLE, FL) Reviewed for a 1997 Jeep Wrangler —6/8/2018 9:49 AM

This is a very solid tire carrier; good value for the price. What sets it apart is that it uses wheel bearings for the pivot, making it very smooth and durable. Pros: perfect fit to bumper; strength for 35" tire; wheel bearing pivot; vibration-free on/off road Cons: no instructions included, online ones almost worthless; need to pack wheel bearings and set races (not a problem for me); big bag of nuts/bolts you need to figure out how to use yourself
