I hit a large road hazard this winter and had to have my front end replaced and repainted. Knowing the the repaint would not be as durable as the factory paint, I was looking for a way to protect the bumper from the salt and road debris that are common in Michigan winters. The LeBra was very reasonably priced, was extremely easy to install, and looks good too. When I take it off in the spring I will have the brand new fresh paint to enjoy, minus the paint chips I'd have with out it. Installation tip: Read the instructions; inspect how it will go on the vehicle; then run the individual pieces in your clothes dryer for a few minutes before installation. The wrinkles came out and the bra went on with ease.

The bra is for a 2005 SRX and comes in 2 parts. The top part, for the hood, could not be tightened enough with the strams to keep it from flopping around at 40-50+ mph speeds. Bottom works great

I read the previous reviews and wondered how difficult it would be to install. Well, not difficult but, time consuming. The tight fit makes strong hands a real necessity. It took about 45 minutes to an hour. I've taken the car on the road and had only one minor problem. The part that goes over the hood doesn't tighten well on one side and flap in the wind when driving. I'm going to contact the company to get help on this problem. The bra looks great on my Cadillac SRX.

my LeBra does NOT accommodate the hydraulic post for the hood. it is IMPOSSIBLE to get the passenger side of the hood portion of the bra to sit still at high speeds.

To keep the hood piece from flapping, I had to thighten it so much a hook broke. LeBra sent me spares in a couple of days--good customer service, poor design.

Unfortunately, this purchase was not what I had expected. Having owned a CoverCraft mask in the mid-80s for my little red sports car. I actually bought this "bra" for practical purposes. The front of my SRX was starting to get pitted from hours of winter highway driving for work. I definitely did not buy this for "style". I liked the look , installation, instructions, & materials. However, at 67mph precisely, the hood protector would start to flap. At 72mph the flapping was so bad that I would have to slow down to 45mph to get it to stop. So my highway driving was reduced to 60-62mph. I tried for weeks to tighten, stretch, uninstall, reinstall, wax under the hood, etc. But 67mph = FLAPPING. On a $50k SUV flapping = heart palpitations. My 1986 mask never flapped.
