Description:

Covercraft's WeatherShield HD Car Cover is ideal for protecting vehicles in intense-sun climates and coastlines-this new fabric really shines for long-term storage.

The WeatherShield HD Car Cover provides UV opacity as it repels water, blocks dust, sap, bird droppings and even industrial pollutants. Yet it's breathable so moisture and heat can escape before they harm your precious finish.

The specially formulated base fabric delivers superior tear and tensile strength. Up to 40 computer-controlled proprietary processes force polymers inside the fabric to bond to each individual thread and fill the valleys between the woven fibers. The result is amazing elasticity that blocks moisture and dirt, while maintaining Covercraft's WeatherShield HD fabric breathability.

Your Covercraft WeatherShield HD Car Cover is backed by a 6-year limited warranty.

Pricey, but the best cover out there.

The last Weathershield HD cover I owned was used on several very nice collector cars I owned that were kept under a Class A motor home overhead shelter next to my home. I sold the last car I covered with it one year ago and shipped the car with that cover in the trunk. The date of manufacture on the cover was 20 years ago! It had shielded a number of different classics over that time from harsh outside environments. I just purchased another for my 50th Anniversary Corvette convertible.

Workmanship quality and wind

For the weather conditions here in Hawaii, I thought that his product must be it. The Best. The most expensive product. I have tried two Noahs and two Evolutions. Already after a year, they began to crumble. I received the WeatherShield HD and it performs well against sun and rain. The second week, we get strong winds and the cover is blown off the vehicle. The rubber elastics are much too loose. Workmanship quality is poor. This will not last 6 years.

Great Fit for my Outdoor Q70

I bought this cover for my Q70 to prevent neighbourhood cats prints from showing up every day! I got one for my New 2017 Titan HD (hard to find fit) and decided to get one for my sedan too. the one for the Q70 comes off and on quickly and I store it in the trunk in a old gym bag. I like the grey colour I chose as it blends in with the surroundings. Great Fit, easy use and it keeps the Q70 clean in between washings. A bit pricey but you do get what you pay for.

Nice cover. A bit pricey.

Like the 6 year warranty. Time will tell whether it's worth the money.

Tight Fit

Cover quality and appearance are good. The cover fits my Miata a little too tightly. It barely hooks on the bottom of the car. I am concerned the material may scratch the car as it is not very soft. It seems you must chose between UV protection and softness. I have ordered a dust cover (an extra $200) to put under this cover ( I hope there is room) to avoid scratching.

3rd one

This cover is a custom fit. During 40+ mph winds yesterday the cover stayed in place due to mirror pockets and gust guards. It is lightweight to handle, and is slippery on my suv since we keep all our vehicles highly polished and waxed. Mirror pockets make it easier to install since the cover does not slide once the pockets are in place. It also protected the vehicle from falling twigs and small limbs yesterday, bird poop everyday, and protects the leather interior from fading.

Watchout for Challenger Hellcat

16 Challenger Hellcat. The cover is generic for all Challengers. Problem is the Hellcat has extra spoilers and a sharkfin antenna. I called Auto Anything and I was told that I should have bought the other highend cover brand that they offer. If you look at it, you will see that it has allowances for the antenna. I did send mine back to Covercraft and they added pockets as needed, but that is a step that you can easily avoid.

Supreme Quality

Very nice quality. The first cover I ever purchased that fit my car to a T. Antenna grommets are cheap and cut yourself assembly is a little tricky. Day one of purchase I cleaned my car and waxed. That might it lured with rain. The next day the car was perfectly preserved. Water wicked off like ive never seen. I'll buy again.

Second Covercraft purchased, but lower rating this time.

This is my second Covercraft cover for my truck. My last cover was a less expensive model, but has held up very well for over five years in the Nevada sun and snow - Reno, NV. The fit of my first cover was perfect. Now for my new cover. This is a much more expensive model; much better UV protection. I trust it will wear great, but the fit is odd. Great fit except mirror pockets. Made for camper mirrors? Not according to Covercraft.

A little underwhelming considering the high price

Compared to other brands, the immediate impression is slightly underwhelming. The material does not look as soft nor as durable. However, time will tell. BTW, I was sent the wrong cover and did not notice for a few weeks. I ordered one with a left hand mirror only and was sent one with a right hand pocket as well. No big deal but still an error none the less.

Weather shield cover for dually

Cover will not fit with the mirrors out have to bring them in which makes the cover loose across the windshield. A bit difficult to put on mainly due to size of truck. Only had cover for a week so time will tell regarding quality.

Covercraft Truck Cover

This is the third cover I have bought for this truck in the last 10yrs, All have been covercraft, but this was the nicest one yet. They should consider selling it with drain holes for the bed. I always install 6 large eyelets over bed so it can drain. Use to use a piece of plywood over bed but became a hassle

Completely decomposed after 1 1/2 years

The material has completely decomposed after one and a half years, have patched it with duck tape (!) which helped for a while. The car is outdoors in Hawaii. Need to buy another cover after two years.

Sun & Rain / Southwest Florida

The cover seems to be very good. Rain has not gone through the material as of today, just less than one month in use. Time will tell. The SW Florida sun will make all car covers fall apart with time so we will see now long this cover will last. Hopefully at least 3 years due to its cost.

Not impressed a at all

After paying over $400 for a car cover I was expecting a much more durable and nicer quality cover. After receiving the cover I realized I payed over $400 for a cheap piece of nylon that didn't fit my car correctly. During the ordering process there were only two options for size (sedan or coupe) my car is a sedan and the cover barely fits my car. I feel like ever time I put it on the car it's going to rip. all in all not happy at all
