Coverking Silverguard Plus Custom Car Cover Reviews

Silverguard Plus

Reviewed By Randall C (Palo Alto, CA) Reviewed for a 2006 Porsche Cayman —8/23/2017 11:20 AM

Heavier and bigger than my other covers when loosely rolled...fills the trunk! Good quality material and the silver finish is effective in keeping the car temperature down, almost like a garage! Inner fabric is very slippery against my waxed car and it's hard to roll the cover while it's on top of the car as it easily slips sideways and off the car. (first world problem right?)

Initial Covercraft NOAH review

Reviewed By James M (Blacksburg, VA) Reviewed for a 2006 Porsche Cayman —8/10/2011 11:12 AM

The initial fit is a bit loose in just a few places, but a wash and sun dry should improve that. The dimensions and cuts are right for our Mini Cooper, including the impressively tall radio antenna sticking out of the roof. The material and stitching is of Covercraft's usual high quality. This is the second NOAH I've had, among about a half-dozen Covercraft covers I've had for different cars over the years, including a Weathershield and several Evolutions. All have been of good quality and fit, and provided long wear. Covercraft's comparative application descriptions (fair/good/better/best) of their various covers have been quite helpful over the years.

Jury still out

Reviewed By David C (Montgomery, AL) Reviewed for a 2006 Porsche Cayman —4/9/2006 12:37 PM

The cover fits my Cayman S quite well and looks as if it will be durable. I'm a bit concerned that the inner surface is not as soft as I'd expected--it's a tiny bit fuzzy, but not so much as might be necessary to suck in and isolate grit and other particles. I will be extra sure to have all foreign matter off the car before I put the cover on. On the plus side, the good fit should keep the cover from moving in the wind and thus reduce opportunities for scratches to develop.
