This deflector was different from my original so I had a hard time discovering how to make it fit (the instructions were not helpful). Once I discovered how to make it fit it went on easy and more secure than my original. The attaching screws were not well made, the screw heads stripped almost immediately.I was able to substitute better screws and my deflector works fine. AutoAnything customer service was excellent when I thought I would have to return it. Be aware return shipping is on you.

Was a good value and easy to install. Definitely keeps bugs off. Looks good until you are driving down the highway and it loses its rigidness and loosens at the corners. Tightened the screws as best as possible that hold it to the hood. The center inserts and screws hold well but the ends begin to rattle and loosen. Tried to adjust the tightness of the screws but the plastic threads don't create enough friction to hold the screws tight. Looking for possibly a metal insert to do the job.

Looks and feels well made. Fits nicely too. Instructions should add that you only need to remove four of the plastic fasteners that hold the two rubber gaskets in place on the Highlander. These fasteners break when you try to remove them so only remove the four required.

We ordered your AVS Bugflector II for a 07 Toyota Highlander recently. We run a body shop and it was part of the insurance claim, as you might know they want the cars done FAST. We didn't pay for overnight shipping or anything pricey but the product was here in 2 days!! Amazing fitment and the price was the best on the web.

Original deflector had four weak attachment points. AVS replacement is much better design and stronger but uses different hood attachment points. Instructions are not very clear. Hold the AVS in place and see where holes line up. You will need to remove/break some plastic "buttons" which conceal correct anchor holes in the hood. Kit screws are not quite large enough to give a tight fit; get next larger pan screws at your local ACE or True Value. Finished product is great!
