This was my second to install on the 2006 Tundra. Once I had the Deflector in place with the 3M tape, the openings for the Grill were not large enough to accomodate the grill and had to be enlarged with a Dremel Tool along with part of the Grill being ground down also. Installation took way over 2 hours and grinding the deflector against the hood was no easy task. Deflector is also warped on one side but may straighten in the sun.

Overall, excellent product and fit. I was a little worried about the fit since the deflector is designed to fit between the hood and grill but it came together great. Each end is held on above the headlights with a strip of 3M tape and optional self tapping screw. I used both and it's very secure.

My OEM Bug Deflector was at the end of its service life. When I called Toyota and found out how proud they were of their parts, I moved towards after market parts. My review: Nice product, easy installation, and very affordable. It looks alot better than the factory original. Installation is pretty much straight foreward. The factory unit bolts up alot differently than the AVS unit, but both are very secure. I would buy AVS gear again.

This was super easy to install on my '04 Tacoma. Just a couple of tips: it is easier to install with the rubber lip removed on the edge of the hood. Also, the little AVS emblem will likely come off while you are driving, so either remove it ahead of time if you don't want it or tack it on with some superglue. Love the bug deflector!
