I mounted the unit with the front curvatures of the mounting flanges directly against the rubber seal on the hood. This made sense to me because it left the 2 mounting hole flush against the sheet metal of the hood and a nice sturdy application. However, once I closed the hood the air deflector was sticking out way too far, it was an inch or more to the front and looked stupid. I took it off and remounted it as far in as I could get it. This made the mounting flanges not flush against the hood and tilted the deflector forward about 10 degrees. I thought this looked better than sticking out an inch or so ahead of the leading edge of the hood so I left it. I wish I had never bought this item, however my wife thinks it looks great but she does not have an eye for detail like I do.

I purchased the AVS Bugflector II for my 2000 Honda Odyssey to replace the factory installed deflector that had broken. The AVS system did not fit the mounts provided used on the factory installed system. These mounts had to be removed and areas cleaned before installed the AVS product. This tripled the installation time. I give this product a "Fair" rating because my expectation is that the mounting to the vehicle to the be same as the factory installed version, which would have required me to remove just four screws, align the holes on the AVS and then screw them back in.

Typical installation--a couple of self tapping screws and easy 3M tape mounting. Good clean look without paying the high price to have your vehicles name on the deflector!

Good looking addition to our Honda. Easy to install and appears sturdy. We're getting some cold weather and the true test will be how it holds up in that kind of weather

Our Bugflector arrived quickly and as ordered for our Honda Odyssey. Installation required drilling and two people to install properly, but good result. It looks great! Would definitely order from Auto Anything again.
