What convinced me to buy an AVS deflector was that clear was available. A big black streak across the front of my vehicle would not be attractive. The plastic screws holding it on are easy to strip and should be of a better design - but so far have held and the value is good.

The AVS Bugdflector II fit very well , was simple and quick to install , it looks good except for a little deformed bend on the right lower side. I would purchase it again the next time I need a deflector. Auto Anything has fast and reliable service. Great Job!!! A. J.

Only a few months into owning our RAV4, a rock flew up on the freeway and scratched the hood. Now with the Bugflector we won't have to worry about that happening again. Installation was easy - just 6 plastic fasteners that popped into existing holes. And we got the clear one, so it's hardly noticeable. Buying over the internet couldn't have been easier - thanks, AutoAnything!

My new RAV is white and I did not want a black bug deflector. The clear deflector is great over white. Took a 6 hr. trip from northern MI. to Chicago and was truly impressed to see far fewer bugs on the windshield. I was also very pleased that installation did not require drilling holes. The only problem is that I HAD TO use a power screwdriver to get the screws in. The instructions do not mention that this may be required. Possibly this is because the shield itself says it's for 2006-2008 RAV4s and this was sold as the correct model for my 2009. 2 other comments. One is that I don't know if this will yellow over time. The other is that the instructions say only to hand wash with this attached. I took it through the car wash with no problem. Don't know if that was unwise or if the company simply wants to absolve itself of all liability.
