This deflector's fit & finish was good and satisfactory. I would recommend the product. However, the installation components left alittle to be desired: 1) the screw-pin securing toggles did not pull up real tight and 2) the backup rubber bumpers were superfluous, as they stand up about 1/4 inch trying to fill a gape of about 1 inch between the back of the deflector and the hood behind.

the bug deflector from the outside looks great. the underside/attachment side does not meet the contour of the underside of the hood - this along with the fact that they provide crappy plastic grommets to attach to the hood make it quite difficult to attach. I actually had to get my father inlaw to put pressure on the deflector and the hood to get the plastic grommet into place, just to have it pop out when the pressure was removed. We finally just sank in some screws to hold it in.

I like the look and the deflector is made very well with the exception of the plastic screws given for installation. To install you have to first snap off the plastic rivots holding the weather striping in place from under the hood. Then you have to slide the deflector between the hood and the weather strip. They give you tiny plastic screws to hold in place and two broke off on me. I will call mfg for replacements. Otherwise good product.

I purchased the Bugflector II because I have two other trucks that I also use Bugflector and they have withstood 7 years of weather and taken beatings on my farm. This time though for my 2011 Honda Odyssey AVS missed the "completely satisfied" mark. The nylon fasteners that hold the Bugflector II onto the mini van were to short to install through the gasket, Bugflector and hood. I went to local store and got longer and fatter rivets that worked.

Low rating on "Ease of installation" is a result of having to go out to a auto parts store to purchase fasteners to replace those supplied with the Bugflector. The diameter of the insert supplied was too small and even if they had bee sized correctly, due to the curvature of the Odyssey's hood the mating screws were too short. Once I found acceptable fasteners (Dorman Panel Retainers p/n 799-135) installation went very smoothly.
