I was trying to decide between the external mount and track mount. External mount had slightly better reviews but both were good. I chose external because in a review for the track mount someone had problems with their electric windows. External mounts went on easily and work well.

These vent visors were nearly identical to the GM ones I installed on my 1999 Chevy S10 years ago. The AVS ones fit my 2003 GMC Sonoma perfectly. The only problem I encountered was the red protective film that is supposed to protect the tape in shipping had shrank, exposing the tape thereby allowing the tape to suck up the yellow label off of the cardboard blister pack. I scraped it off best I could with a razor blade and installed. Hugh

I shopped around for these and these were the cheapest by far. I got my package in 2 days with free shipping and they were exactly as described and went on with ease. I think I've found my new go to online auto parts store.

So, I tried some in channel's and I was never comfortable with the window operations after I installed them. After a couple of months one of the air deflectors actually broke, so I tried these. They were very easy to install and the windows work much smoother than the in channel's. I'm very happy now and am sure they will last at least as long as the truck.
