I had to use my own screws to install this bug shield. The existing drilled holes were a little big for the small plastic fasteners and plastic screws that were furnished. These holes were Ford factory drilled as I am the original owner of this 1997 F150 XLT truck and I did not drill. All the holes in the bug shield matched these existing holes. I would suggest that Lund furnish a couple of different size screws with this shield

I had my original Lund deflector since the truck was new (1999)...I banged it with a canopy I was putting up and cracked it, so I figured it was time to put a new one on..figured the existing mount holes would fit the new one. Received the new one quickly from Auto Anything and Was pleasantly surprised, this Lund version using existing holes under the hood lip with body rivets. After removing the old one, the new one installed in like 6 minutes. A nice addition to my truck.
