I have purchased AVS in-channel for 3 other cars. My GMC was the worst experience ever. Currently on set number 3. My first pair, the installation went smooth. I waited over a week before I opened the windows. MY WINDOWS HIT EVERY SINGLE VENTVISOR. After close inspection, I realized that all of them were missing a piece of 3m tape on one of the sides. All 3 AVS sets sent to me were faulty. I had to buy my own 3m tape to get them to work. AVS- Lazy quality control department.

I gave them a great rating..because they look great, they're easy to install, and I would buy them immediately for every vehicle I buy..but..be sure to inspect them all before you put them on. One of the four showed up broken and of course we didn't notice until we already had two on :(

Two of the four never would allow the windows to be rolled up. They would catch on the outer upper edge of the visor each time rolling up. This was after they were left to set 24 hrs in warm temps with windows up. There is no 3m adhesive on this outer lip for the visors, therefore it doesn't stay flush in the window channel and will jut out enough to catch the window when rolling up. The other two were fine. Had to pull them all off though. Visors also had numerous scratches and scrapes.

This is the fourth vehicle that I have used these visors on and the fit this time is horrible. Three of the four windows hit the lower edge of the visor and stop, the fourth hits but does close. It appears that the visors are properly attached to the outer gasket and if I pull the visor out, the window will close.
