I've owned these deflectors on my previous 2002 Silverado. Never had a problem in 10 yrs. This set popped in easily. The power up function on the drivers window wouldn't work for a few days. After they got bedded in all is fine. Great for FL. to be able to crack the windows and let some heat out when parking out side.

The deflector does cause the auto closing motor to labor the last few inches-I hope it doesn,t cause pre mature motor failure. Also- I am not sure that the window seal is as air tight as it was without the deflector between the glass and the rubber seal-time will tell.

The WeatherTech Window Deflector was very easy to install and it looks great. My wife was concerned that it would take away from the appearance of our vehicle, but when she saw them installed she was really impressed with how they looked.

I was a little concerned about the "flange" that fits intl the same seem that the window goes into when it rolls up. Hwever, there was no need for concern. The part that fits into the window grove is thin yet strong.
