I was told by the salesman that the deflector would extend all the way to the edge of the hood as their pictures show. It doesn't even come down to the bottom of the hood. Instead, it looks like a chopped off mustache. I am keeping it because I'm currently installing a Big Tex grill guard, which I hope will help to distract form the cheesy looks of this deflector. Also, more installation pins should be supplied, because once one is dropped on the engine, it is disappeared forever.

The double sided tape would not adhere to the hood due to the binding up caused by installing the screws in the four predetermined tab points. Each end that meets the grill hits it, the middle has a gap. I installed the clear tape squares at each end along with a clear button, hopefully this will keep the grill from being scraped up. It seems like the gap should be more uniform (not hitting the grill at two ends.

The deflector has a very nice look to it, but the contours molded into the unit did not match up perfectly with the truck. The issue this brings up is the double sided tape that is supplied to be used. Simply put, if the contours are not 100% right, the deflector doesn't touch the hood and the tape does not work.

The deflector is stylish and looks great on my Ram 2500. It does not provide any protection for leading paint edge over the headlights like the OEM deflector. The mounting hardware seems a little flimsy....basically 4 small plastic push rivets and 4 thin strips of double stick adhesive. Installation was easy and straightforward. Will have to wait and see how well the deflector holds up over time.

Easy installation and very complimentary to my white Ram truck. It is light weight and fit the OME holes. The unit is a little pricey for chrome covered plastic yet it looks great once installed. The hardware could be upgraded to machine or stainless screws. The instructions suggest removing rubber hood gasket, I left mine on and it appears to work just fine!
