I love Weather Tec products for my new truck, like the bug flector but couldn't get the wind flector for my sunroof, What a bummer, so I had to settle for another brand. My truck is brand spanking new and I don't want to start sticking accessories to the paint. O. Nelson.

Great Product. Poor installation instructions.

Fits well & looks great. Use your own ingenuity for installation. Instructions provided by the manufacturer are "mission impossible" - especially for 1 person.

Looks great. A little more money than AVS brand. Exactly the same as AVS right down to the embossed stamping number; however Weather-tect mounting fasteners were of better quality for installation. Well worth the ectra cost.

Great Bug Deflector

Looks and performs great, no road noise or anything. Took in on a 1,000 mile trip the day after I installed it and had no issues. Plus, my windsheild was fairly clean! Only issue was when I was pulling the existing tabs out of the hood, I partially tore the weather stripping. So be careful.

Issues with Installation

First the product itself is of great quality. The mounting hardware is HORRIBLE. I had to find some longer push pins from Autozone that would hold it in place. The plastic mounting hardware never really tightened the deflector down and the head of one of the screws broke off. Push pins would be the way to go.

What a pain to install. The included plastic anchors are too short and dont stay in place. AVS feels just as durable and a lot easier to install.

The K&N intake kit was easy to install and looks great under the hood. I can feel a difference on the low end power and it sounds aggressive when you step on the gas. I believe this kit is well worth the money and would tell anyone thinking about getting one...do it! It makes my Silveraydo sound like it's going to punch a Ford in the mouth!!!

product is very well made and made for a perfect fit but the plug in fastners were way too small. I had to use # 14 3/4 screws
