The acrylic materials in the deflector is good quality. My mixed ratings are entirely the result of difficult and in my opinion inadequate installation materials. The plastic expansion screws were inadequate. I purchased some 5/16 x 1/2 inch screws, and rubber washers and slightly drilled the existing holes in the hood to thread them into to attach the deflector. One of the holes in the deflector did not line up with the factory holes in the hood so I had to slightly modify the deflector hole

Great looking deflector. Do yourself a favor, buy stainless screws before you start. The plastic screws they give you are garbage and are going to strip out. That is my only complaint. If you start with better screws, it will take you 20 minutes to put on.

The plastic inserts would not stay in the protector. I used clear tape to hold them in place to insert the screws in the holes in the hood of my F150. Also the clamps that go on each end of the protector were to tight. I had to put them in a vise and use a screw driver to pry them open some. I think this is quality product and would recommend it to others.

Really like the looks of the Stampede VP protector. Looks to be the same quality construction as my last Stampede which is 12 years old Like that it is wider than the hood to fully protect the fender corners. Installs without drilling. Would give it 5 stars, but the plastic anchors are not secure enough so I installed with 4 3/16" aluminum rivets instead(1/8 to 1/4" grip range). You will use the 2 metal clips to fasten the ends to the hood, plastic film is provided to prevent scratching
