I ordered this bug shield fo my 15 Silverado after reading reviews from owners who purchased for same vehicle. Owners indicated this shield for 15 Silverado did not use tape, but no drill push pin under hood. Also online video show push pin install for this truck. This is not what I received but one with tape install not what I wanted. Box came direct from Lund and labeled 2014/2015 Chev. Despite cleaning hood as directed 3 times, tape is already coming loose. Very disappointed.

The protector was difficult to install by myself, in particular because of its size and the fact that I didn't follow the instructions. I ruined the set of 'plungers' sent with the unit and called the company for replacements. They sent them the next day and for free. I then enlisted a friend's help and within ten minutes the protector was installed. I love it, and have had many favorable comments about it.

This deflector has a very nice finish, and looks great on my 2015 Sliverado. Getting to that point was a bit of an adventure. I have worked in a body shop, so I am very familiar with nylon retainers. The ones provided, might work well in 90 degree weather, but not in 30 degree weather! The problem really starts with the deflector, it is not flexible at all at low temps. If you get the two push pins to work on both ends, the three in the middle will are not long enough to hold.
