"the bugdeflector looks great on my 2008 chevy and it has a very sleek style but the plastic bumpers are not big enough it causes a rattling sound so i bout larger bumpers to cs less rattling sounds, other than that it was really easy to install and looks great" —Dylan M from Rexford, KS bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 1500.

"Great, I like how ez they installed and the way they look. They got here quick and no problems." —Mike F from Allen Park, MI bought an EGR In-Channel Rain Guards for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.

"I've purchased bug deflectors for almost every vehicle I've owned (i.e. Jeep Wranglers (4), Tahoe (1), GMC Jimmy (1), Trailblazer (1), GMC Truck (1)). They have been purchased through various sources on the internet and one in-store purchase. This is the third ERG deflector installed on my vehicles. The fit for my 2008 Silverado is very good and the installation was the easiest I've encountered. I didn't have to drill any holes or depend on 2-sided tape to hold it to the vehicle. When I ordered the EGR, I did think I was ordering a smoke colored v/s the clear, but probably my lack of attention when talking with the Autoanything sales person. I also wish the EGR would have been about 3/4 inch taller to deflect debris away and upward from the hood more." —Cecil S R from Pawleys Island, SC bought an EGR Aerowrap Hood Shields for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.

"Love the look, quality, and fit of the AVS Chrome Bug Deflector. My only suggestion for installation would be to use a spring loaded clamp to help in the installation process. The manufacturer provides double faced tape to hold the item in place during installation, but the force of gravity was stronger, so it wouldnt stay in place. Simply clamp the shield on one end and install fastener on the other. Just be sure to use a clamp with protective covering. The holes line up perfectly without drilling. Makes for a nice installation." —Mary K from Forty Fort, PA bought an AVS Chrome Bug Deflector for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 1500.

"Shipping was fantastic, it was here within 2 days from the time I placed the order. It took longer to read the instruction than it did to mount the deflector. And everything I have ordered has been packed exceptionally well. Great experience!" —Keith D from Saint Charles, MO bought an EGR Aerowrap Hood Shields for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 1500.

"Car washes have claimed several bug deflectors over the years and I have always used this manufacture as a replacement. Never replaced one of these, withstood the abuse and just simply last better than most." —Lance G S from Kansas City, MO bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 1500.

"I received the product faster than they could get tracking numbers to me. Installed in minutes....literally. Very happy with the product and was exactly what I expected from EGR. It fits the Silverado great and definitely adds character to the front end. No fluttering whatsoever during high speeds." —Aaron S from Grand Rapids, MI bought an EGR Superguard Hood Shields for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.

"I liked the support from your Company. The chrome looks awesome and the install was smooth. Highly recommended." —Tom S from Loveland, OH bought an EGR Chrome Hood Shields for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 2500 HD.

"The egr bug deflector was an excellent choice for my 2008 chevy the price was perfect the installation was very easy took no time at all and it looks great" —Bryan S from Provincetown, MA bought an EGR Superguard Hood Shields for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 1500.

"Love it cant tell I have one until you walk up close to my pickup. Looks like part of the pickup and not an add on." —Robert E from Kyle, TX bought an EGR Aerowrap Hood Shields for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.

AVS In-Channel Vent Visors

2008 silverado ext cab

I absolutely love these. They were a breeze to install and fit well. Only drawback is that the front window visors had no tape on leading edge and i had to add some so the window wouldn't catch it when rolling up. View more reviews...

10 Wind, Bug and Vent Deflectors to Consider in 2020

Get in there. Rub that off-color spot on the leading edge of your hood. As much as you hope it’s going to disappear as you buff harder and harder, it just won’t. That’s a stone chip. And as you inspect more closely, your hood’s paint looks like the surface of the moon. Covered in craters, […] The post 10 Wind, Bug and Vent Deflectors to Consider in 2020 appeared first on AutoAnything Resource Center.
