"The bug deflector was just what i need to make my explorer look good. Installation was easy the only thing is you had to drill two holes." —Bill S from Houston, TX bought an AVS Chrome Bug Deflector for a 2006 Ford Explorer.
"The deflector itself is great but the parts to install were a problem. The inserts to go in the factory holes were too small and I had to glue them in place. Because of that the screws then were too small so had to go to the hardware store to buy screws." —Dennis S from Florence, OR bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2006 Ford Explorer.
"I ended up using a couple of screws to install the bug guard, not sure it was 100% necessary. Product fit well and looks great." —Bruno G from Saint Louis, MO bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2006 Ford Explorer.
"Very good product, it adds to the chrome on the grill, nicely rapping around the front end of my Explorer making it look complete!" —Abel G from Dumont, NJ bought an AVS Chrome Bug Deflector for a 2006 Ford Explorer.
"The installation was fast and simple however the plastic hardware was loose in the holes and I had to add self-tapping screws to hold the the unit in place. The plastic is more pliable than the unit I bought for my F-350. Overall it looks very good, we'll see how it holds up." —Dennis L from Sutherlin, OR bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2006 Ford Explorer.
"Love my Weathertech window Deflectors. Great fit and function. They are very sleek and not bulky. Great fit and look on my 2006 Explorer." —Doug R from Pontiac, MI bought a WeatherTech Side Window Deflector for a 2006 Ford Explorer.
"These were easy to install in my 2006 Explorer. I didn't know they had tape even though they fit in the channel. It makes the flanges too fat in the front windows and caused trouble getting the window up; but after the recommended 72 hours left up, they work fine.
I put some WeatherTech ones in an 08Pontiac a month ago and they went in a lot easier and no tape. They cost a lot more though, and the Weston ones are definitely comparable at a much lower price." —Joanna H from Howard, KS bought a Wade In-Channel Window Deflectors by Westin for a 2006 Ford Explorer, 4-door SUV.
"This In-Channel window visor looks better then tape on ones which I have on my other vehicle." —Michael C from Toms River, NJ bought an EGR In-Channel Rain Guards for a 2006 Ford Explorer, Crew cab.
