"I love seeing the all that pretty chrome when I look out the window. My truck is getting there, and I,ve got all my after market items from Auto Anything. Thanks for doing such a great job. Mary" —Mary S from Umatilla, OR bought an EGR Chrome Hood Shields for a 2009 Ford F-150.

"This product is custom molded for the truck, not a generic that tries to fit multiple vehicles. Installation took 5 minutes for all 4 windows. Looks much better than the stick- on ones offered by Ford." —Bruce M from North Little Rock, AR bought an EGR In-Channel Rain Guards for a 2009 Ford F-150, SuperCrew cab.

"I have always been a fan of EGR products and the bug deflector did not disappoint. The styling is great and it is very functional. Installation was fairly straight forward although I had concerns I was going to damage my grill as the mounting bracket essentially gets wedged between the grill and the hood. There are cheaper deflectors on the market but don't have the quality or styling." —Jason W from Buffalo Grove, IL bought an EGR Superguard Hood Shields for a 2009 Ford F-150.

"The unit is a quality piece of equipment. The fasteners provided do not fit the "existing" holes in the hood. You must drill two holes for them. You really need two people to install the unit....not recommended to do by yourself." —Carleton S from Panama City, FL bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2009 Ford F-150.

"Received the bug shield in great shape. The box was a little worse for wear, but the contents where intact and sustained no dammage. The shield appears as though it performs well. The only complaint I have is the outer edge clamps that fit onto the underside of hood edge. A small piece of clear teflon like material is put in place to protect paint of hood when clamp is spread and slid over underedge of hood. The clamps had to be spread with a screwdriver to fit over hood edge and ripped the protectant film. So, without removal I do not know if I scratched the hood on my 09 F15 with 65 miles on it." —Tod H from Doral, FL bought a Lund Interceptor Bug Shield for a 2009 Ford F-150.

"AutoAnything shipped it quickly. It looks as good on the truck as advertised and was easy to install. It does a good job splatting bugs and deflecting debris before they hit the windshield." —Mike W from Surprise, AZ bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2009 Ford F-150.

"Since installing the EGR In-Channel Rain Guards I seem to have noticed a higher level of road noise." —James S from Dumfries, VA bought an EGR In-Channel Rain Guards for a 2009 Ford F-150.

"The rain guards were very easy to put in the windows.Within two minutes they were installed with no problems. I would recommend them to my friends." —Harold R from Lusby, MD bought an EGR In-Channel Rain Guards for a 2009 Ford F-150, Regular cab.

"Some parts didn't seem to work when installing them but ended up working fine." —Gloria H from Alpharetta, GA bought an AVS In-Channel Ventvisor for a 2009 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.

AVS Windflector

2007 Ford F150

Bought this one to replace a 10 year old deflector that was busted at the car wash. Make sure the surface is clean before installing a new one. The AVS fit perfectly and looks great. View more reviews...

Stampede Wind Tamer Chrome Sunroof Deflectors

Looks beautiful on my 2015 Ford F-150 XLT.

It's really beautiful on my 2015 Ford XLT Supercrew. But really it's 3 1/2 inches too short. The installation was very easy for 1 person to do. I'm pleased with my purchase and Auto Anything for such a great deal. View more reviews...

10 Wind, Bug and Vent Deflectors to Consider in 2020

Get in there. Rub that off-color spot on the leading edge of your hood. As much as you hope it’s going to disappear as you buff harder and harder, it just won’t. That’s a stone chip. And as you inspect more closely, your hood’s paint looks like the surface of the moon.
