"it looks great, took a few minutes to install, but works just as well as any Honda part!" —James S from Fort Washington, MD bought an EGR Aerowrap Hood Shields for a 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
"Decided to invest a hundred dollars because just spent over $300 to fix a dent caused by a flying stone.
Deflector fit well and looks good. I believe it'll do the job as well.
The only issue I had was that the plastic screws used to attach to the truck had to be replaced with metal screws to get it to hold. A minor issue and I am satified otherwise." —Michael H from Rockwell, NC bought a WeatherTech Stone & Bug Deflector for a 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
"The screws they give you don't work....You have to find some that are a little thicker to make the inserts expand enough for it to stay secure.....Other than that the bug shield fit perfectly...." —David G from Houma, LA bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
"Great fit, easy install, could have used extra screws a couple are under the battery I think. Overall good product, looking to add window vents now." —Eddie H from Algonquin, IL bought an EGR Aerowrap Hood Shields for a 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
"The bug deflector on my 2008 Ridgeline looks great and attaches solidly to the hood. I was a bit concerned when I unwrapped the package and saw it was for a 2006 - 2007 model but it fit anyway. The instructions could use a little more detail. NOTE: The 4 threaded philips head type connectors that came with the unit push in instead of screw. Once I figured that out it went quickly. Be careful pulling out the original dozen or so push connectors that attach the original seal to the hood, you'll have to remove and reuse all but 4 of them and you will stress them in the process. It would be nice if replacements came with the unit. All in all a very good product for a good price." —Ray L from Dallas, TX bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
"Awesome head turner add-on. Easily installed and ultra sharp. Thanks for the great service. Al" —Al T from Cloverdale, IN bought an AVS Chrome Aeroskin Hood Protector for a 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
"Bugflector looks great on my vehical but the instalation was a bit tricky. The fasteners that come with the product do not work. They are to long for my hood and when you went to tighten the screw it just striped the threads." —Arthur C from Moreno Valley, CA bought an AVS Bugflector II for a 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
"This unit is working very nicely on my Ridgeline. No wind in the cab and it now we can hear the radio with the sunroof open.
Installation was a bit challenging and took two people cooperating to get it done. No leaks.
I would recommend this product to others." —Paula W from Grants Pass, OR bought a WeatherTech Sunroof Wind Deflector for a 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
