Looks and feels strong, like that it gets you higher on the roof. On my back door latch it does not rest level due to the shape of the body. Nothing to do with the door step.

I like the awning but, I do not want to keep the it on my vehicle 24/7. I wish there was a simpler way to remove and later re-install when needed.

Very soft and work well to keep the seatbelt off my skin in the summer.
