Hooker Exhaust, Mufflers & Tips

Hooker Exhaust Systems

By the power of Zeus, you’re going to have the meanest sounding car on the block -- thunderbolt sound effect and all. When you’re ready to upgrade your factory-installed exhaust with something built for a car enthusiast, a Hooker exhaust might be the right choice. Not only does the brand remain committed to making some of the most reliable parts for exhaust systems, but they look good, too.
Hooker has been around since the 60s, when Gary Hooker designed a new exhaust header for his own Chevy. Soon, Gary had hired a staff and Hooker Headers was making custom exhausts and super efficient headers in California. Over the years, the company has been known for everything from the go-to company for drag racing performance to an innovator in the world of thermal barriers for exhaust systems. Long story short: Hooker brand exhaust parts are the real deal.

Headers, maximum flow mufflers, competition turbo mufflers, tips, and entire exhaust systems. If you need it, the Hooker inventory has got it. If you’re in the market for the company’s hallmark exhaust headers, you’re definitely in good hands. Hooker exhaust headers are race-ready and engineered to be used on the street or at a race track. The Mandrel-bent tubing can be customized to the make, model, and year of your car, and the headers always come with everything you need to install them.

Whatchu know about a maximum flow muffler? Allow us to seduce you with talk of 16-gauge aluminized steel casing, exhaust flow that runs in either direction, and a universal design that fits on almost any custom installation. Not your style? Let’s talk about the Hooker Competition Turbo Mufflers. Marked by an oval shape, aggressive tone, and double-wrapped aluminum body, this muffler is not for the faint of heart. It is, however, for anyone who instinctively throws a chef’s kiss at the sound of a throaty exhaust grumble.

Hooker custom exhausts can be purchased as a complete system, or you can buy things piecemeal as the need arises. For instance, you can purchase exhaust tubing and collector ring kits on their own. On the flip side of the coin, you can also pick up an entire Hooker exhaust system that meets federal emission standards with just a few clicks of your mouse.

Hooker brand car mufflers and complete exhaust systems are covered by a limited warranty and built to last so you never need the warranty. You can’t lose. Whether you want to increase the sound on your stock exhaust for a race car or create a low, melodic hum in your everyday commuter car, custom exhausts built from Hooker parts are the gold standard. You can find everything you need right here on AutoAnything -- including a low price guarantee with price matching.

Hooker Side Tubes

Hooker header side tubes

A good experience with auto anything and the live Chat Tony B. The pipes arrived and the mounting tabs were bent and no hardware to mount them. This was Hookers fault. Tony from the live chat gave me information to call customer service. The woman I spoke to said in 2 business days I would get a call from her, a week later after I sent an email with pictures and comment about dropping the ball. I got a ups label in an email. Now I'm waiting to see about new ones or reFund more wasted time. View more reviews...

Got these and was concerned that the box was torn up and taped back together but the pipes were wrapped well and undamaged. Fit was tight on the passenger side but fit well. Look great. Should have a used with option for gaskets and APR bolts. View more reviews...
