American Idol, The Voice, America's Got Talent—there's no shortage of sources for shrill, nails-on-a-chalkboard noises out there. But, what about a sound that raises your pulse, puts hair on your chest and reminds you of chucking firecrackers into mailboxes as a kid? A sound like Ted Nugent cutting down old-growth timber with only his guitar? For that kinda tone, there's only one source: MBRP Universal Mufflers.

As strong and intimidating as Andre The Giant, MBRP Mufflers sport free flowing chambered or spiral core designs that let exhaust gases rush through with nearly no restriction. By cutting your backpressure, they unlock your true performance potential while amplifying your motor's mean rumble. And, each muffler is expertly crafted from your choice aluminized steel (polished or black), T409 stainless or T304 stainless to fit your budget.

Whether you're riding a compact import or a burly American diesel pickup, MBRP Universal Mufflers come a wide range of sizes to fit exhaust pipes between 2.5" to 5". Plus, they're available in a range of inlet/outlet configurations to match your stock pipe setup. And, it's backed by a 3-year warranty for aluminized steel and a Lifetime Warranty for stainless steel.

I have a lb7 duramax with a 4 to 5 inch straight pipe. It was ungodly loud especially on the interstate. This muffler doesn't make to much difference at low rpm (which it still quiets it down a bit) but it makes a world of difference once you give it throttle. Especially at 2k rpm when it starts to drone out. The truck still sounds awesome but not nearly as loud! It was exactly what I wanted!!

After tons of research on forums, auto aftermarket sites, and even calling the manufacture directly; I finally decided on the mild tone muffler (I couldn't find any reviews on this model). I have to say I am very satisfied with my decision. The sound is noticeable but not overbearing at all. Nice deep tone. Love the straight through design. I feel that it improved performance with a 3" cat back. Highly recommend.

    Pretty Dang Sweet!

Muffler looks awesome and feels solid. Had it put on professionally for a $100 and I'm very pleased! Great sound when accelerating and a nice idling pur. When I stomp on the gas my 2016 RAM 1500 rocks like a NASCAR engine. Inside the cab is perfect. I left my resonator intact and swapped out the factory clunky heavy muffler.

    great product

Very happy with this muffler. It sounds great and was easy to install. It has a slight amount of drone that cost a star, but all in all as a replacement for a stock muff it is great. Would go this way again if I did this mod over.
