Not loud but has a tuned throaty sound with some burble on deceleration. It fit the truck with no modification. I like the large tail pipe, looks mean.

Just had professionally installed on my '97 Dodge Dakota 5.2. Sounds great. I wasn't looking an overly loud exhasut system and this is perfect. It has a deep powerful sound without being annoying. Sounds great at highway speeds being barely noticeable. I highly recommend this system for anyone looking for a great sounding quality system. Regarding installation: I had the system professionally installed, however, I feel sure it would be a breeze.

Great addition to my Dakota. Saw a slight increase in MPG right off and could feel an increase in power as well. I was looking for performance and not an ear deafening sound and that's what I got. You can definitely tell it's not stock though and it has a nice rumble. Was easy to install, I did it myself. Last thing, the picture doesn't show it but it does come with a stainless steel tip that looks pretty good.
