I've bought and installed a few Flowmaster systems and this one was pretty standard. The bends were all great and lined up nicely. As others have stated, the kit does not come with flange gaskets, but you can pick them up an any parts store. My main issue with this system is the hardware for the exhaust tips. They have these tiny bolts with 10mm heads. The bolt heads rest on a curved surface that deforms the bolt when you you tighten them. I wasn't able to get the tips positioned correctly.

I like the flow master 70 series but not quite what I was looking for I wanted a little deeper meaner tone. I am going to swap out the 70 for 40 series. If you're looking to roar and have heads turn go with the 40. I'm happy with the 70 but just not the tone I was looking for

Although they say this is an aggressive exhaust system, I had concerns if it was going to be TOO aggressive. After a local shop installed it on for me, I thought it sounded nice, not too aggressive. The shop told me they had zero issues installing it. I definitely noticed a difference in performance after the install...a nice added bonus.

If you are looking for a system with a deep growl then look els where! The 70 series is hardly louder than stock and I seriously wish Flownaster was more descriptive of that, considering that the 70 series is one of the most expensive mufflers on the market. Also, 3" exhaust tips look anemic on a Nissan Titan. The exhaust tips are seriously tinny! The tips would be better suited for a Frontier or another truck in its class. Honestly I don't know what they were thinking when they designed this

I think the catolog confuses what is a "crew" (4 door) cab and a "king" (extended) cab as it says this fits all Titan models but crew cab long bed. I have king cab long bed and was assured it would fit. It did except for the 22" gap between the Y pipe and the muffler. An unexpected trip to the parts store for a section of 3" pipe, an OD to OD adaptor, two clamps, my chop saw, some deburring and I completed the install. I also had to slit end of the pipe that goes over the axle for the left side so it would compress and not slip after the clamp was tightened. It sounds good, but resonates harshly around 1500 RPM while lugging it in traffic. For a stainless system, it is a good value with some fitting needed.

took it to a muffler shop to be installed and they had it on within an hour. Looks great, sounds great. noticed a little more punch to the accelerator but haven't noticed a change in the MPG yet. only on my 2nd tank though.
