brought to local muffler shop for install, hour later was tearing down the blacktop with big smile, like old school muscle cars when you stomp on the pedal. A week later still stomping and smiling. Upgraded to stronger, better clamps to avoid welding.Overall very pleased, especially with exhaust note, JUST RIGHT!

When I started looking information on the different options & Brands for modify Factory muffler on my 2016 Ford F-150 All said that having the 3.5L EcoBoost Engine would never achieve a nice sound on it. Even so I decided buy this package of Flowmaster (American Thunder) and believe me I am super happy with the Pretty & Solid Sound, also the strength or power I feel now in my truck. Believe me I'm scared now when I hit the gas pedal. lol

Everything comes with love and hate! Love: sounds great for cold start and gas pedaling Hate: terrible resonation cab noise on highway 70-80mph(1600-2000rpm) By the way , I install the rear exit at begaining, but it shows the pipe on the side which connected to the tips, that's ugly, the I switched to side exit, with I can get a bigger tip size! Some like 4"

I installed this in my driveway, without lifting the truck and could reach everything just fine. The instructions were just a lacking in explaining the orientation of the mid pipe from the factory connection to the muffler that has to be clocked correctly for the dual tail pipes to line up properly. I made all the connections and tightened the clamps... well that is easier said than done. I ended up getting them as tight as I could and had an exhaust shop hit them with an air impact.

Finally got everything installed, was a little more difficult as I did this by myself laying on the floor of my garage, but the end result is pretty good. The only concern I have is the band clamps.. It doesn't seem like I can get them tight enough to keep the pipe from twisting and slipping.. after 3 days I had to go back under the truck and re adjust and tighten again.. and they will still twist when I pull on them, will probably end up getting them welded, but that's my only negative..
