I purchased this Gibson Sport exhaust because it claimed to have a deep throaty voice and NO DRONE when driving down the road. What I got was an exhaust system that sounds like I have a hole in my pipe before the muffler of a stock exhaust and the DRONE inside the truck is so loud and annoying it gives me a headache if I drive more than a half hour or so. Needless to say I will be changing the exhaust system.

Received the Gibson stainless exhaust mid week, put it together on the garage floor first and it was a good thing I did because one of the outlet pipes was not expanded enough to fit the muffler properly. I took it to a local muffler shop and $5 later they took care of the issue by expanding the tailpipe. Installing afer that was a breeze. Sounds great, no change in mileage after 5 days of driving. The 409 stainless was much more metalic than i had expected, My borla 304 will not attract a magnet but the Gibson 409 attracted the magnet as if it were 100% steel. Hope is does not rust to badly, I may give it a coat of high temp paint.
