Purchased the Gibson aluminized steel exhaust system for my Nissan xterra as a more reasonably priced option the installing the factory exhaust. It was very easy to install with the exception of the old rusted exhaust bolts which had to be cut off to replace. Happy with the ease of installation and the sound is not loud or annoying.

It looks like a nice exhaust. I hate providing a review for something two weeks after I install it when it hasn't been exposed to anything that might rust it. Yet, the metal feels heavier gauged, so it'll probably last longer than a cheap replacement exhaust. Actually it went on faster than taking the old one off since the rusted bolts were a pain in the butt. You'll need to go to an auto store an get new gaskets, hangers, and nuts and bolts since the exhaust doesn't come with replacement versions. Also, the instruction don't tell you how to assemble the pipe to the muffler other than slip it on. You might need a torch to heat the muffler outlet up to expand it enough to slip it onto the tail pipe. Anyway, they don't tell you about things like that in the instructions.

System came quickly, nicely packaged and in good condition. The quality is at least as good if not better than anything else I've seen (I got the side swept in alum. steel)- I probably should have gotten stainless but time will tell. Fit was perfect, install piece of cake except removing old system. Definite increase in response, accelleration and power while remaining quiet with nice tone. Couldn't be happier.
