As many have already posted, the hard part was getting the old system off. I used an angle grinder to cut the heads off the converter pipe. The new system sounds good, not too loud and engine seems more responsive. Have not checked real world mileage yet. Great value.

i had a cherrybomb system on my 4.0 ranger. the gibson system really quieted it down. it has a great low tone. i have a 3 inch performance accessory lift on my truck so the exhaust hangs a little lower than i had hoped. instal only took about 45 minutues the only problem i had was getting it from hitting the spare tire. my gas milage went up consiterably fom the cherrybomb i went up 4mpg. i really like this exhaust and the only regret i have is not getting the dual exhaust.

While Autoanything was great in research into why it took so long for the system to be shipped, Gibson took almost a month to ship. However once I did recieve the part, I was extatic. It looks amazing, very easy to install and if your looking for a low V-8 idle sound this is the exhaust system for you. It is not laud at all so if thats your goal this is not the answer. There is very little exhaust reverb within the cab at any speed. I blame the poor performance on shipping on the turn of events on the economy. I have had issues with other items from other dealers. Overall great product!!!
