I purchased the Gibson 617301 side-swept cat-back exhaust in stainless steel, and had it installed last week. All I can say is WOW!! What a difference in the sound and performance of this Big Orange Box. In addition to that extra kick it gets now when combined with the Blackhawk cold-air intake I had installed previously, it sounds like a fairly bad mofo. At slow speeds and during idling, it sounds awesome. When I do hit it, it goes - they just never see that coming. Not bad for a rookie :)

Duped!

This was ordered as a cat-back system as pictured on the order...it was delivered with no pipe(s) between the catalytic converter and the muffler. I called customer service who blew me off to Gibson...who told me that it was assumed that I should know that I should use the existing exhaust pipe!!! I bought the missing stainless pieces outside for another $150.00!
