I was on the edge on which type of exhaust I wanted for my 09 lancer and this axel back sounds so much better then the ingen and dc sport ones do on my friends lancers, it's deep and throat not like that Asian kid with a scion, it's awesome, I'm really happy with it, the install was easy, however you need to get new nuts for the 2 bolts that connect to the axel, ace hardware hooked me up for 1.23$

I am a newbie to car performance. I just started driving my 2009 Lancer ES. One of the first upgrades was a performance exhaust. The directions were spot on for installation. Have to say, getting off the old exhaust was a PITA! I live in Buffalo, NY, and since this car is already around 3yrs old, and has been drivin in the winter, this was not an easy task. Anywho, once I installed, and fired it up, WOW. What a great sound, deep, and throaty. Since I have installed this exhaust, I also installed a K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake, Pulstar Plugs, DC Header and Motegi MR121's. I am now getting consistantly around 30-32MPG's! Thank You Auto Anything! Your reviews, prices, and documentation is amazing.

I have had my Borla exhaust for two weeks now, I am definitly very happy with it. The installation only took 40 minutes(NOT INCLUDING TIME FOR STOCK EXHAUST TO COOL DOWN)Weight reduction (Stock-27.5 pds) (Borla-10pds)I lost 17.5 pounds and i got the look and performance i wanted!!It sounds great!! This is perfect for me! I did not want a LOUD screaming exhaust. I wanted something 'low key' that got the job done. Thanks a bunch!! KC

I ordered the Borla Exhaust for my 2008 Lancer GTS and am extremely pleased with the product itself. It is commonly known that the exhaust does NOT come with the hardware to install (nuts and washers) but I was aware of that before I purchased. I am surprised that Borla has not fixed that issue yet since they state that all hardware is included. I did have to wait almost a month for the exhaust to be shipped as well since it was on backorder. Overall installation was extremely easy, having took me less than a half hour to remove the old exhaust and install the new.

Everything looked great & the fitment was spot on. The installation is very simple. I had my stock exhaust off & the new 1 installed in only 15 minutes. UNFORTUNATELY, they do not provide you w/ the nuts to screw this exhaust together! Having the CVT means you WILL get a slight drone around 1800-2200RPM which is 55-67ishMPH. Idle is quiet & so is anything above 70MPH. I plan on using DynoMat to try to silence the drone. Nice DEEP tone!

Installed it a while ago; pretty easy to install at home. Great look, way lighter than the stock rear section of the exhaust. Doesn't sit well, but still looks awesome (unsightly space between bumper cut-out for exhaust, but can be adjusted). Had to get a replacement nut for the bolts that attach this rear section to the mid pipe, but wasn't too much of an inconvenience. My favorite feature, though, is the SOUND; when idle it's practically silent, but once you hit the gas, it gives that low throaty growl rather than an annoying screech. Love this exhaust!

The exhaust has a great tone even though it has not yet b broken in. Its has a nice rumble at idle and low RPMs and is not annoying loud when gunning. The exhaust is also very low profile looking almost stock till you see the size of the pipe the coating you can tell it wont rust and the polished look is very classy However the direction did not state that with 2008-2010 Lancer you will have to replace the existing bolts on the mid pipe. It would have been helpful to know that and know the size of the bolts. another note if you have your windows down for the first couple of days after instillation you may smell a weird smell dont worry its just protective oil that the exhaust was coated in it will go away in a few days.
