I like the sound, it is fairly mellow compared to the sound that was coming out of my falling apart factory exhaust. I was kinda hoping for a little more rumble out of it - but on the other hand the highway sound / drone is not annoying to me at all. It wasn't hard to install - it was my first muffler install and I I didn't have any major problems. 5.9 L Cummins in a long bed quad cab 4x4 w/168k

I purchased the monster exhaust to replace a failed OEM muffler. It installed easily. The muffler is a straight-through design, so restriction is low. The original factory muffler with a rust-through hole makes more noise than the monster exhaust. I was hoping for a little more rumble, but I am sure my neighbors appreciate that it does not.

Taking the old exhaust off was pretty simple after I took a angle grinder and cut the old pipe at the front and sprayed the hangers with WD40. The new pipe was in small enough pieces to handle by myself and hold up to put together. The directions were very clear

This system was a snap to install, NO LIFT WAS NECESSARY and every piece fit together as well as fit the truck perfectly! It was so nice, I put one one my other truck as well. Total time to remove old and install new was appx 1.5 hours with the use of a cut off wheel to remove the old system

This is a good exhaust. Sounds great. Nice deep tone but doesn't drone while at highway speeds. I paired mine up with the the Banks Air Filter and High Ram Intake and what a difference. The turbo sounds great and spools up very fast now. My only complaint is the pipe for the banks was so much bigger than my stock pipe I had to get an adapter to get it right. I think that should have been included in the kit. If you get this exhaust take it to a muffler shop and have them do it. It takes the hassle out of it. All in all good exhaust I would buy it again.

THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB WAS REMOVING THE OLD EXHAUST, THATS WAS THE TIME CONSUMING PART. I JUST PUT HER UP ON JACK STANDS AND WENT AT IT. IT TOOK ABOUT THREE HOURS TO DO START TO FINISH. ABOUT TWO HOURS REMOVING THE OLD.
