Upgraded my 5.4 3v F150 from 2.25" true dual exhaust with Dynatech max long tubes and cats with super 40s to 2.5" with high flow cats and super 44s. The sound isn't as loud but more throaty with a little more rumble and the interior resonance was reduced drastically. Exhaunt flows much better now. I can't tell if my low end torque changed much but passed 4000rpm there is a big difference.

I had my resonator taken off due to a large dent and hole in it and couldn't stand the hum I would hear in the cab. I didn't realize how important the resonator was. I had this welded on and the cab is back to normal without the noise. I have also noticed a slight increase in fuel mileage / power. If someone says the resonator is not important and you won't notice with it taken off is wrong.
