2007 Chevy Silverado
Exhaust, Mufflers & Tips

Teslas are cool, but some people want a little bark to go along with their bite. Ah, the sweet sound of redline...

2007 Chevy Silverado Exhaust, Mufflers & Tips

There are few things in the car realm more annoying than a bad exhaust. Leaky exhaust systems can hurt performance, fuel economy, throw check engine codes and prevent your car from passing smog. A high-quality performance exhaust can be one of the most rewarding mods you can do to your vehicle. Every time you accelerate, shift or rev the engine you get a visceral impact from the sound and feel of your exhaust cracking and burbling.

A good exhaust setup can also be one of the best style upgrades for your car, whether it’s a side, single or dual exit, a chrome or titanium exhaust tip can make your car stand out. An exhaust system is a relatively expensive mod, that’s why it’s important to do research to find the best exhaust system brands and types to fit your vehicle and your customization goals.

Aftermarket manufacturers spend thousands of hours of prototyping and testing their custom exhaust systems to ensure every piece - from the headers to the muffler – performs to their specifications. Want to know how exhaust systems work or compare a slew of performance exhausts? Check out our exhaust buyers guide for an in-depth comparison.

Nice rumble - Fighting Drone

I really like the looks of the exhaust and pipes on my 2007 Silverado Classic 5.3. Exhaust sound is what I was hoping for. Low rumbling. Not obnoxious. Sounds great when you stand on it! I think my drone is due to a combination of having a tonneau cover and NO bedliner. Feeling that the sound resonates into the cab. Really bad at 1500-1700 RPM and not 2100-2600 that others have mentioned Having previously decided I will behave decided I will install the BedRug. Will update after adding BedRug. Borla Exhaust Systems

Stock exhaust replacement

The fit and appearance is top notch on this exhaust. For my truck I selected the single outlet in the stock location. I had a local exhaust shop install the product. They charged me a flat hourly shop rate of $65.00, money well spent. It's a little louder than I expected under acceleration but not obnoxious (note: I did not want a loud system). At cruising speed it sounds mellow. Overall I am highly satisfied with my Borla purchase. View more reviews...
