2007 Ford F 150 Exhaust, Mufflers & Tips

There are few things in the car realm more annoying than a bad exhaust. Leaky exhaust systems can hurt performance, fuel economy, throw check engine codes and prevent your car from passing smog. A high-quality performance exhaust can be one of the most rewarding mods you can do to your vehicle. Every time you accelerate, shift or rev the engine you get a visceral impact from the sound and feel of your exhaust cracking and burbling.

A good exhaust setup can also be one of the best style upgrades for your car, whether it’s a side, single or dual exit, a chrome or titanium exhaust tip can make your car stand out. An exhaust system is a relatively expensive mod, that’s why it’s important to do research to find the best exhaust system brands and types to fit your vehicle and your customization goals.

Aftermarket manufacturers spend thousands of hours of prototyping and testing their custom exhaust systems to ensure every piece - from the headers to the muffler – performs to their specifications. Want to know how exhaust systems work or compare a slew of performance exhausts? Check out our exhaust buyers guide for an in-depth comparison.

"I purchased this exhaust to complement my Cold Air Intake, which it does nicely. It did add a small amount of low end power, not as much as hoped for. The sound is good, doesn't bother the driver and has enough rumble to let you know its back there. Installation was easy, took me longer to remove the stock muffler. The price is a little high but it is a quality part. I would recommend to a rich friend." —Adam M from Baton Rouge, LA bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2007 Ford F-150, 2WD, regular cab, 6' 6" short bed, 4.2L V6.

"Installation was pretty easy. After removing the stock exhaust I needed to shorten one peice of the Magnaflow pipe by about 5 inches then just bolted it together. The sound is perfect. Not obnoxiously loud but louder and more aggressive than stock. There is a small horsepower gain too. The muffler and tips are highly polished and look really nice under the truck. Highly recommend." —Jesse G from Mc Kinney, TX bought a Magnaflow Exhaust Systems for a 2007 Ford F-150.

"Exhaust looked nice out of the box butlooks awesome on the truck, after a month of break in it sounds really good and clean. No disappointment at all" —Kevin W from Farmington Hills, MI bought a Magnaflow Exhaust Systems for a 2007 Ford F-150, SuperCab, 6' 6" short bed, 5.4L V8.

"An hour to install and it sounds mean, even though my 4.6l isn't. The interior resonance is noticable at low rpms, barely at highway speeds more under slow acceleration. Lost a little off the line snap but gained 2k to 4k hp, I usually only go maybe 3k. Has a real 'race rumble' and it sounds like I'm racing even when I'm not. I put downturns on it to take it down a notch, and it did a little." —James R from Garland, TX bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2007 Ford F-150, Super Crew, 5' 6" short bed, 4.6L V8.

Flowmaster Universal Catalytic Converters (Federal EPA-Compliant)

Flowmaster High Flo Spun Body Cats.

Had bad factory cats so I redid my entire exhaust. Flowmaster cats seem to be working just fine. Service engine light is off. Definitely have more power and torque. And not sucking down a ton of gas!!!! View more reviews...
