"Got the Borla's after reviews said "Borla has ELIMINATED the cabin drone..." - Turns out that the axelbacks, on my 2013 Mustang V6 Premium Automatic Convertible, still produce a notable drone at 1700 - 2100 RPM. The drone isn't as severe as ogther mfg's (like Bassani's), but you eitgher accept it as a "spports car sound" or choose the one other brand we found that has NO DRONE AT ALL (Corsa)...at the expense of the deeper note the Borla's produce. "I am very pleased with this system. The tone is awesome, but it is not obnoxiously loud. Steady cruise volumes are very tolerable and just slightly louder than stock, but are much louder when accelerating. I dinged the rating just a little because you can tell that the muffler still has the mill finish on it and it did not get a final clean before shipping and the welds could have been neater.
