2003 Honda Accord Exhaust, Mufflers & Tips

There are few things in the car realm more annoying than a bad exhaust. Leaky exhaust systems can hurt performance, fuel economy, throw check engine codes and prevent your car from passing smog. A high-quality performance exhaust can be one of the most rewarding mods you can do to your vehicle. Every time you accelerate, shift or rev the engine you get a visceral impact from the sound and feel of your exhaust cracking and burbling.

A good exhaust setup can also be one of the best style upgrades for your car, whether it’s a side, single or dual exit, a chrome or titanium exhaust tip can make your car stand out. An exhaust system is a relatively expensive mod, that’s why it’s important to do research to find the best exhaust system brands and types to fit your vehicle and your customization goals.

Aftermarket manufacturers spend thousands of hours of prototyping and testing their custom exhaust systems to ensure every piece - from the headers to the muffler – performs to their specifications. Want to know how exhaust systems work or compare a slew of performance exhausts? Check out our exhaust buyers guide for an in-depth comparison.

Not sure which 2003 Honda Accord Exhaust, Mufflers & Tips are right for you? We have over 11164 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

"I was very reluctant to upgrade my exhaust system simply because most of the exhaust systems for import cars sound really annoying and loud. Once I turned my car on after intalling the exhaust I was very pleased with the low sound the exhaust produced. The sound is distinct when accerlerating but not annoying loud. At cruising speeds there is a minor drone but with the windows rolled up and radio at a moderate level the exhaust noise is barely noticable. I get asked all the time what type of exhaust system I am running simply because no one has heard anything like it on an Accord. Overall, Borla was a great choice and I am not disappointed with this purchase. Note: I have a V-6 so I do not know what this exhaust would sound like on a 4 cyl model." —David C from Clarksville, TN bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2003 Honda Accord, Coupe, 3.0L V6.

"The headers were generally easily installed, but the four bolts on the catalytic converter were a pain to remove and became very stripped. A tip for those if this happens to you, Sears has for $30 a damaged bolt remover that worked like a charm! Overall a great product. It sounds great with my Injen SRI and Helix TBS. Lots of power gains and about 20 more miles per tank of gas." —Jeffrey B from El Paso, TX bought a DC Sports Headers for a 2003 Honda Accord, 2.4L 4-cyl. engine.

"I bought this product after the very common Accord code P0420 would turn my CEL on and off every 100-250mi. After 500mi of use, my CEL has not been lit up since! My throttle response is much better, my MPGs have greatly improved 20mi/tank, and I have more power! Due to other aftermarket parts installed, I cannot tell if there is difference in the sound. My old stock CC had but 62k mi. I recommend checking your CC for clogs before replacing it may be your o2 sensors going out, a much cheaper fix" —Jeffrey B from El Paso, TX bought a Magnaflow Catalytic Converters - 49 State Legal for a 2003 Honda Accord.

"I recently bought DC Sports Brushed Stainless Steel header from AutoAnything. As always, AA always deliver without issues. I am happy about that because I was able to install the header just in time for the weekened. DC Sports header is of excellent quality. The brushed stainless steel finish is to die for. It is more durable than the ceramic. It includes all the necessary hardware to complete the job. Installation instructions is straight forward. Performance wise, this header improved the acceleration of my 03 Accord. I don't have a cat back system but you can feel the difference how better the car accelerates. The sound is similar to stock which is quiet. Find me at Gen7 website. Levi" —Levi R from Jackson Heights, NY bought a DC Sports Headers for a 2003 Honda Accord.

"This is a great exhaust for the Honda accord and I would recommend it to anybody, I've had it on for about a week now and absolutely love it! It is a little quite compared to other exhausts but I think it would really wake up when combined with a j-pipe and pre-cat deletes... Only thing bad I have to say is I never got my free hat I was supposed to get with purchase. :(" —Dakota S from Waterloo, IA bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2003 Honda Accord, Coupe, 3.0L V6.
