I easily installed the anchors on my 2000 Ford F-150. The important thing is to make sure you have a large Phillips head screwdriver for adequate torque to ensure a good tight installation. I found that you had to back the attachment screws almost all the out to get the anchors into position. I also determined that you had to insert the anchor on the side where there was the most room first in order to position the second side of the anchor. If you use the 'short' side first, you cannot maneuver the anchor into its final position. They look good and will function as desired although my thought is that the ring is a little small - a large diamerter rope will not fit the ring.

Although these are a little pricey they are the best! In fit, form and function I feel these are the best "protection mats" I have ever owned. They stay put, funnel the debris and water out and over the door sill and are easy to clean. I've owned many others but these are finally what I've been looking for. Buy these, they are the best. BGW PS I do not work for anyone connected with these companies.

I put a set in my 1997 F150 before ordering a set for my 2006 F150. I've heard the fit on the 2004 and up F150's is great but the one in the '97 just plain doesn't fit that well. The driver's side liner doesn't lay flat and the "holder hole" in the liner and the "holder" in the factory carpet don't even come close to lining up. The jury's still out on whether or not to order a set for my newer truck.
