I have bought WeatherTech floor liners before for other cars and they fit well. The driver's side floor mat did not fit my Mini Cooper and had to be cut because it kept catching on the clutch pedal. When I ordered them there was no place to indicate that I have a manual transmission.

I had previously bought these for another vehicle and they were excellent, but they just don't fit my Mini Cooper. The driver side is OK but the passenger side is over an inch too short. Whatever they measured to make the passenger side wasn't a 2006 Mini Cooper. I have two pieces of foam rubber installed in the gap to stop the mat from riding forward.

The WeatherTech mats have a better overall appearance than I expected. The quality is very good. Very well tailored mats. I only found one problem when installing, the clutch pedal in the Mini Cooper catches on the top edge of the mat. I had to cut a semi-circle out to alleviate the problem. Once I did that, functionality was enhanced. WeatherTech should probably make that modification. It wouldn't matter for the Auto matic trans, but it's very much needed for a manual trans.
