I ordered 2 of these mats for our garage. We watched the video and read any directions. The first one was harder to put together and of course the second one was easier. The end to start with was more difficult but the sides were very easy. We are very much enjoying not having snow, rain and ice in our garage over the last 10 days!

These are good mats to corral the snow mess you drag into your garage even if you do your best to get rid of the snow clots off your car prior to pulling in. Installation is not near as easy as it seems on the youtube video if the temperature is cool in your garage. I recommend that you warm up the components to 70 degrees before you start installation.

Bought this to protect my new garage floor from salt in winter. I tried installing in the winter -- NOT! The design is such that it needs to be warm to get the clips in place. Also if you use studded tire then make sure you put some protection down or this product will not last.

I followed the written instructions to a "t" and watched a You-Tube video showing installation prior to installing but when installing the first (of two) mats and assembling the short sides I was about an inch short of space so I had to completely undo the previous work and back each long side off about a half an inch. After much adjusting I still cannot get rid of several "ripples" or "bubbles" in the mats. The second installation went fine because I had learned my lesson and installed a long side, then a short side, then a long, finally a short. Rain will be the big test - will they contain the water? If so, then life of the mats will be next - will they hold up to hot tires after coming off a long drive on hot summer concrete? If they pass both of those tests your rating could go up.

When snapping the plastic edges onto the mat (on the first two sides), one should not place the mat all the way into the edge pieces. This shortens the mat and causes the plastic edging to not fit correctly. This was not in the written directions, nor was it shown in the video.

We live in a rural mountain area of New Mexico, on a dirt (read muddy!) road and while fortunately, we have a garage, driving my 4 Runner in with a pile of snow was making my husband crazy. We were concerned about the wet seeping into the concrete floor. This mat is perfect! Not hard to install (although you need a hair dryer if your garage is cold). Only issue we had (and I believe we followed the directions carefully) is that we had to saw the strips as they were too long on either end.

This is the second time I have purchased this item, the first being many years ago and had excellent service from the product. The mat is very tough. The side plastic pieces a can be a bit of a chore to put on. I am very happy with the product. It keeps the water that comes off our vehicles from running all over the garage.
