The 20mil mat does not stand up to heavy use. The 50 mil last 3 times longer. The only problem with the 50 mil is it only comes in 7.5 ft wide. For larger vehicles you only have 5 in on each side of tires. It would be great if it was made in 8.5 to 9 ft wide.

I love these heavy duty Park Smart mats. I bought (2) over 10 years ago and they are still holding up well. I did buy some edging since they can crack if you step or drive on them. The new Park Smart is gray and the original I bought is black which hides dirt better. I do not understand why they changed. That is my only complaint. The gray looks dirty all the time while the black hides it somewhat. I love the way these contain rain and snow and keep it from going all over the garage.

Ordered the heavy duty mat after reading reviews on the standard mat. The mat is very thin but feels very durable. Installation was very simple...just read the directions, lay out the pieces and it was so easy to snap together. i plan to buy a few more.

Ordered two mats for car and truck. Weather has been wet in Northern WI and lot of excess and snow turds from the cars. I assembled the mats in 30 degree weather, not a problem. One mat tended to slip out of position, quick fix to anchor with small pavers. Once there is build of water will simply shop vac, with this purchase; I feel my vehicles think highly of me!!

The installation instructions were unclear, like they were poorly translated from a foreign language. I would recommend initial installation in warm weather. The mat has worked well containing the run off from my F-150, which can hold a lot of snow.
