Finally covered up the old concrete floor. Laid two layers of commercial landscape fabric (sound deadening) then the RaceDeck. Followed my preliminary sketch and it went very quickly. Cut a few tiles to fit around steps and along one edge. Holding up well, looks great, comfortable to walk on. I'll do this in our next garage.

I have slowly expanded the amount I have. I wasn't willing to go all out and spend $$$ to do the whole shop all at once. I don't make that kinda money! But I love having this stuff! It makes a huge difference in appearance vs. plain concrete.

I installed my floor in 95 degree heat in one day. The most time consuming part was cutting pieces to fit around the edges, stairs etc. Once you get to know the way it snaps together, it is pretty quick. (I found that using a 2 lb rubber mallet was better than the recommended stepping on the tiles. You can damage a tile by stepping on it at the wrong place while snapping them together. You want to start at a junction and work out to both ends.) The finished product is spectacular!

I ordered the race deck flooring for my husband so that we could put it down on our garage floor. He loves the way it looks on the floor. We have our motorcycles parked on it and haven't had any problems with it. I'd definitely recommend the flooring.
