The Bull Bar itself is very sturdy and would protect the front of the Jeep. The mounting for the Jeep Patriot requires a bracket that attaches directly to the frame, but by the time the bar is mounted, it is not as sturdy as it looks. Also, the mounting bracket is below the Jeep reducing ground clearance by about an inch. Regardless, I am keeping the bar on the Jeep.

Looks great but no place to go through firewall in my 2017 F-150. Dealer said probably have to drill hole through it I'm sure I can figure it out. By the way my daughters went to WMU. So I started buying Western with a NY accent. ??. Great product. Thanks again. Peter D. Mi.
