This grille guard will make you truck look sharp but I wonder if it will provide much protection to the front end. I live in an area with many deer and I doubt this guard will withstand a deer strike. Also the directions were incorrect. The frame brackets were marked L and R. The directions indicated the orientation of left and right were as you were sitting in the vehicle. I had to install them backwards (left on right) to make it fit. It took me a couple of hours so not that big a deal.

after some miscommunication about tow hooks was resolved, the installation went as expected. appears to be very solid and functional. quality is good and it achieves the desired impression of my Tahoe. I'm pleased.

Bought the grill guard for my wife's tahoe, didn't know when I would have time to install it so I decided to do one step at a time, when I got started it was so easy I finished in, an hour and a half, looks great very sturdy too. Glad I went with the Black Horse brand.

The guard look good on my 03 Tahoe and easy to install. Only problem that it doesn't have any support other than the bottom brackets, so the guard vibrates while driving down the road and when I get lights on it they'll vibrate too.
