Dont buy license plate relocation bracket. 30 bucks wasted was not at all needed. Just bolts to brackets that you install on the frame, not as sturdy as of this type of installation. LookIng at welding it to the brackets for added strength. Looks great though. Can't beat the looks. Just need to be sturdier.

I did quite a bit of research before deciding on the Westin Bull Bar for my 2004 Toyota 4-Runner. As advertised, it was easy to install without removing anything and looks great. It was a little lighter than I expected but I installed it for looks only.

I like how the bull bar looks on my 2007 4-Runner. With no experience installing a bull bar before it took me a maximum of 20 minutes to install this one on my vehicle. Highly recomend this produce. The only negative experience is- I purchased the black and chrome bull bar from Westin. The black paint had several minor scratches on it when I took it out of the box. I believe it happened during hte shipping.

I put the black Westin Bull Bar with the chrome skid plate on my 2005 4Runner and it looks great. I also added a set of PIAA 540 Driving lights that goes well with the Westin Bull Bar. I definitely recommend it if you are looking to make your truck/suv stand out.

Bar on my '06 4Runner was as reasonably sturdy as one could expect since it must attach so far back under the vehicle on the frame's bumper mounts. Only problem was the thick steel mounting plates for the bull-bar rested almost against the front of the vehicle's thick steel tie-down loops that are welded to the frame. Slight bumping of the bar caused the mounting plates to rattle and vibrate against the tie-down loops. Turned that into an asset by drilling a 5/16" hole through each mounting plate, slipped a 1/4" thick, stainless steel U-bolt (for 1/2" pipe) through the hole in the mount, raised the U-bolt legs with the tie-down loop in the middle, then bolted down the U-bolt's keeper plate behind the tie-down loop to pull the mount snug against the loop. No more vibration, and this second firm attachment at the lower end of the mount (to the tie-down loop) makes the bar solid as a rock. Now, I wish the tube were made from a little thicker steel.
