Bull bar looks great and was very easy to install. I wish I could have kept my chrome tow hooks like I was able to do on my F-350. The instructions list the need to remove the license plate holder and adjacent bumper cover before installation of the bull bar. I found out after the fact that the plate, holder and adjacent bumper cover NEED to stay where they are. The license plate relocation kit is not necessary for this F-150, and the bull bar doesn't even have a mounting location for it.

This is my second bull bar on as many F150s. I liked the first one so much I had to have a new one on my new truck. The quality is excellent but Westin could be a little more customer focused. My last truck was a 2004 F150 and when I queried about whether the old bull bar would fit on the 2012 F150 they said, "No, it says here it won't fit." I asked why and was told, "Don't know. Just says it won't fit." Of course the frame for the F150 hadn't changed. The bumper had. But there was no obvious reason why the bull bar itself had changed. So I asked if I could buy some different mounting brackets (for the '12) and was told "No." Oh well... it was worth a shot. So I bought the new one and sure enough it is exactly the same dimensions with slightly different mounting brackets (very slight.) I mounted some PIAA 40-series lights and it looks GREAT!
